How to Analyse an SSC Mock Test

A practical routine for reviewing SSC mock scores, accuracy and time by section.

Start with the scorecard

Write down the score, attempts, accuracy and time for each section. Compare like with like: a full mock and a sectional mock answer different questions about your preparation.

Look beyond the total

If your attempts went up and accuracy dropped, check whether you rushed or guessed more. If accuracy stayed high but attempts fell, look for questions that took longer than expected. Review the questions before deciding what caused the change.

Choose one adjustment

Set one target for the next mock, such as skipping a slow question earlier or setting aside time for a final check. Compare the same section across your next three mocks to see whether the adjustment helped.
